Rose Marie Griffiths

Rose Marie Griffiths, 90, lifelong resident of Hartford, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 in Waldron, Arkansas. She was born October 19, 1934 to Thomas and Pauline (Whedbee) Roberts. She was co-owner of Marburger Publishing Company until she retired at 88. She attended Jones Memorial Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Griffiths.

She is survived by her son, Marty Griffiths and wife, Peggy of Hartford; two daughters, Vickie Cotner and husband, Bill of Mansfield and Tammy Maner and husband, Dennis of Greenwood; three sisters, Joan Bailey of Catoosa, OK, Carolyn Simmons of Paducah, KY and Cornelia English of Poteau, OK; three brothers, Jimmy Roberts of Hartford, Jeff Roberts of Hartford and Jan Roberts of Poteau; seven grandchildren, Jamie Maner, Ryan Maner, Justin Maner, Ashley Hoopengarner, Dylan Griffiths, Ciera Jones, Jesse Cotner and eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 20 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Hartford Memorial Park. Viewing will be 2 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
