Roy Glenn Singletary, 83, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026 at a Ft. Smith hospital. He was born April 26, 1943 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Everett and Ava (Grantham) Singletary. He was a mechanic, U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and member of Jenny Lind First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his spouse, Beverly Singletary; two daughters, Lily Popken and Lila Popken; one brother, Paul Singletary; three sisters, Linda, Tiny and Josie; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Lori Ann Singletary, one brother, Clyde Singletary and one sister, Pat.
A family led celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
