Ruby Belle Minks, 90, of Pocola, Oklahoma passed away from this life Tuesday, October 31, 2017. She was born May 18, 1927 in Rock Island, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Minks and a daughter, Kathleen. She was a wife, mother, homemaker and loved to visit kids, grandkids and family.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, November 3 at Greenwood First Baptist Church with burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Hackett under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 2 – 7 p.m. at Greenwood First Baptist Church, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
She is survived by one daughter, Irene Cantrell and husband, Bill of Pocola; three sons, Jim Minks of Fort Smith, Charles Minks and wife, Pat of Fort Smith, Danny Minks and wife, Ann of Fort Smith; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
