Sandra Turner

Sandra Fay Turner, 78, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026 in Barling, Arkansas. She was born August 1, 1948 in Greenwood, Arkansas to Edgar and Juanita (Cathers) Jenkins. She was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith.

She is survived by one son, Clifford Turner; one daughter, Patricia Yocum and husband, Anthony; five sisters, Wanda Lloyd, Miria Griffith, Patricia Knight, Denna Bond and Judy Horan; seven grandchildren, Joshua Yocum, Savannah Freeman, Natosha Womack, Austin Turner, Bryce Turner, Abbi Turner and Jacob Turner; two great grandchildren, Walker Freeman and Savvy Jo Freeman and a grand dog, Winston VonBratt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Logan Wayne Turner, four brothers, John Jenkins, Billy Jenkins, Tillman Jenkins and Jerry Jenkins and three sisters, Bobbie Smith, Joy Smith and Elizabeth Miller.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, September 17 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
