Shannon Michelle (Poole) Ryle

Shannon was born on November 9, 1961, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Jerry and Joy Poole. Shannon worked for Lone Star Steel for numerous years before her retirement. She married Tom Ryle on October 13, 2022. In the time Shannon and Tom spent together they shared countless joyful memories. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Shannon will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tom Ryle; parents, Jerry and Joy Poole; daughters, Elizabeth Poole, Emily Verrati, and Hope Poole and fiancé, Mason Bynum; brother, Matthew Poole and husband, Dan Passanati; sister, Kris Norried; stepdaughter, Kimberly Irene Ryle; eight grandchildren, Ashton and fiancé, Zander Morrissey, Sophia, Haylie, Ayden, Erin, Sierra and fiancé, Trey Fouse, Caleb and Alex; three great grandchildren, Lane, Levi and Emma and numerous friends and family. Shannon was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Hilpirt and grandparents, Eunice and Willis Poole.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 23 at the First Baptist Church in the Recreation Outreach Center (the ROC) in Greenwood, Arkansas.
