Sharon Kay Schleiff, 78, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026 in her home. She was born November 21, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to James and Lela (Martin) Taff. She was a homemaker, longtime member of Midland First Baptist Church and Windsor Park Baptist Church in Fort Smith and volunteered at the middle school in Greenwood.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Mauser of North Little Rock; son-in-law, Samuel Phillips of North Little Rock; one sister, Jo Ann Pigeon of Barling; two grandchildren, Rebekah Love and husband, Cody and Jakob Mauser and wife, Sierra Kerby; four great grandchildren, Aislyn and Bentley Gillen, Colton Love and Marcus Mauser and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Ray Schleiff and a brother, Charles Taff.
Graveside service will be 9 a.m., Friday, April 3 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Cody Love, Brandon Love, Samuel Phillips, Jakob Mauser, Gary Wayne Pigeon and Chris Millard.
