Sherman “Reuel” Holland was born the first twin on June 22, 1938 to parents, Robert Reuel and Mildred Holland and joined his twin brother, Lewel in Heaven on December 14, 2023. Reuel graduated from Greenwood High School in 1957 and went on to become the greatest cattleman of all time. He worked alongside his brothers, Frank and Lewel for their entire lives. Reuel married the love of his life, Donna Bailey on August 24, 1962. They welcomed their son, Sean to the family in November of 1979.
Reuel was an incredible brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend, mentor, and so much more. He served on the board for the Sebastian County Farm Bureau for longer than anyone knows. He never truly retired—he continued to work cattle to the very end. Reuel inspired generations to come regarding the cattle industry and agriculture as a whole.
Reuel is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Donna Holland; his son, Sean and daughter-in-law, Katie; their children, Kennedy, Scott and Klaire; his brother, Frank and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
