Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of Stan.  Stan was a great neighbor at Shadow Lake and always had a smile and a kind word to share with others. The first man to make me feel protected and cherished. 

I worked in the Dallas office for Baldor-ABB from 2003 thru 2016, 
and was fortunate enough to meet and visit with Stan on several 
occasions during sales meetings and training at Ft. Smith.
I spent more than a decade asking Stan for help on a vast multitude of situations and product knowledge. He would help anyone at anytime with any question or concern. I really thought the world of Stan, and was really sad and surprised when I heard of his departure from the company.
Sir, You were a refreshing breath of air for me!
Stan, please rest in peace...and I know that you are in Heaven making people very happy once again!


People often say, ‘gone but not forgotten’ & this will always be true of Stan.  From day #1, he brought his own special zest for lofe into every day things. We always looked forward to his big breakfasts. His collection of meats, cheeses & soft boiled eggs in their own little ‘cup’, made each visit feel like a 
vacation to some far away land.  He was a true outdoorsman. I will always remember watching him clean & cut his own deer. There wasn’t anything he could not do & he will be greatly missed by all whom knew him. My love & prayers go out  to his wonderful family.

I enjoyed meeting Stan at Baldor!  Such a smart guy!  Always smiling.  His Facebook page showed his love for the outdoors. 
I am truly sorry to the family and friends that  are grieving him.  My sympathies. 

We are so sorry to hear of Stan's passing. He was a great neighbor at Shadow Lake. I remember he took it upon himself to freshen up the area around the dock and turn it into Sunset Point, a nice area to relax and look at the lake. Rest in peace Stan.

It was such a pleasure in getting to know you all when you would come to the Jenny Lind Café to eat.  I always enjoyed your smiles and laughter.  I will treasure all the great memories of Stan and please  know that my thoughts are with you all.

So sorry to hear this. We became friends back in my (our) Boys and Girls Club Days! Always the perfect gentleman. Great Soccer Coach!! He will be truly missed.

To Stan’s family:  I am so sorry for your loss.  Stan was such a wonderful man.  I worked with him in the Drives Center and was honored to be invited to his Oktober celebrations which were awesome!  I was even able to spend time listening to stories from him and his mother which was a great experience to just hear.   I appreciated Stan always keeping track of friends as we moved around in Baldor (and then ABB).  Once a Stan friend, always a Stan friend.  

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Komander is survived by his wife, Rebecca Komander; one son, Johann Komander and wife, Kristen; a step son, Josh McMillan and wife, Amanda; one daughter, Ela Komander; three step-daughters, Kari Steffen, Amanda Farmer and Heather Kaempfe and husband, Bobby; his mother, Maria Galczynski; two brothers, Wojciech Szaszor and Artur Komander; one sister, Milana Dlugopolska and twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.
