Susan Carolyn Meyers

Susan Carolyn Meyers, 83, of Huntington, Arkansas passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 in her home. She was a professional secretary at the Pentagon for 23 years, an avid horse rider, trained and showed Doberman pinschers for the Little Rock Dog Training Club, secretary for the Eastern Star for 20 years and member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Spencer Martin Allen; two daughters, Laura Allen of Mena, Arkansas and Nancy Hutchenson of Knoxville, Tennessee; six stepchildren, Randy Scott Allen of Fort Smith, Steven Allen of Hackett, Jennifer Ramos of Fort Smith, Robert Allen of Alma and Jeffery Allen of Lavaca; one brother, Bill Swartz of St. Petersburg, Florida; two grandchildren, Jeffery Thomas Waddle and Jerhome Thomas Waddle; two great grandchildren, Lyla Belle Waddle and Dyllan Lee Waddle and several step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elnora (Cox) Swartz and a stepdaughter, Heather Allen.

The family will hold a private graveside memorial service at Spring Hill Cemetery in Easton, Maryland. Cremation was under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas.
