Susan Murphy, 79, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026 in Greenwood, Arkansas. Susan was born August 21, 1947 in Denham, Indiana to Riley and Mary (Miller) Bailey. She was a cook at Heck Bar & Gill in Lake Station, Indiana and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one son, Jeffrey Woodruff; one daughter, Sherry Woodruff; one sister, Ann Sanchez; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Kenneth Henry, Thomas Woodruff Jr. and Timothy Woodruff; two daughters, Selina Woodruff and Jolene McCoy; four brothers, Red, Jim, Bob and Frank Bailey and two sisters, Ruth Allen and Betty Rupert.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Arkansas.
