Thomas Louis Frisby, 80, of Jenny Lind, Arkansas went to his heavenly home on Friday, March 15, 2024. He was born November 3, 1943 in Urbana, Arkansas to Samuel Jesse and Easter Lilly Frisby. He pastored various churches in the area; he served as pastor at Southside Full Gospel Church for 25 years and retired from Whirlpool after 29 years. He was a man of God that believed in the power of prayer. He never met a stranger and would stop anywhere to say a prayer or to pray with someone. Thomas loved his family and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue (Ross) Frisby; two sons, Doug and Jeff Frisby, both of Fort Smith; one daughter, Tammy Morrow and husband, Ron of Jenny Lind; eleven grandchildren, Cameron Foote, Chans Foote, Chyler Beasley, Daylan Frisby, Cadan Diamond, Dallas Frisby, Michayla Frisby, David Frisby, Kelsey Frisby, Tiffany Sevenstar and Jadah Easter and seven great grandchildren, Gunner, Landry, Kamry, Olivia, Madden, Emmilyn and Oden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Mike, George, Sammy and Billy (infant) and four sisters, Maggie Lou, Patsy, Jessie Mae and Jenny (infant).
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 19 at Greenwood First Assembly of God Church with burial in Pope Cemetery in the Graphic Community under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Monday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Foote, Chans Foote, Michael Ross, Chris Beasley, Daylan Frisby and Ron Morrow. Honorary pallbearers will be Dallas Frisby and David Frisby.
