Tommy "Pete" Plunkett

Tommy “Pete” Plunkett, 65, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was an employee of Raggio Construction, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, member of the Greenwood First Baptist Church, Harris-Hannah V.F.W. Post #6527 and the Greenwood Round-Up Club.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Greenwood First Baptist Church with burial at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Gina of the home; two daughters, Jennifer Wieser and husband, Greg and Laura Bullington and husband, David both of Greenwood; one brother, Steve Plunkett and wife, Teresa of Fort Smith; one sister, Sharon Jones and husband, Phil of Greenwood and five grandchildren, Garrett, Grant and Lexi Wieser and Skylar and Kent Bullington.

Pallbearers will be Jim Brown, Randy Mizell, Willie Don Solesbee, Wayne Stallings, Mark Stallings, Kevin Jones, Brad Jones and John Paul Walker.
