Troy Lee Glover, 75, of Greenwood, Arkansas went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 13, 2023 after a long illness. He was born April 10, 1947 in Spiro, Oklahoma to Troy Glover and Robbie Cusick. He attended Denver Street Baptist Church.
Troy Lee was a husband, father and grandfather. His biggest joy was being called “Gramps”. He loved watching his grandkids play, grow and learn. He was very proud of his kids and grandkids accomplishments.
Troy Lee worked very hard to ensure that his family was taken care of. He would help his family, neighbors and friends on any project. Troy was a jack-of-all-trades. He worked for Miller Drilling and then worked for Tri State Metal Works. But when he could no longer weld due to COPD, he went to work at Whirlpool where he retired. He was passionate about his antique cars and old tractors and enjoyed going to car shows and cruises.
Troy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sandy; son, Michael Glover; daughter, Tammy Daggs and husband, Bill; his grandkids, Tayler, Ryan and fiancée, Abby, Chris and Tyler; his brother, Charley Glover; sisters, Ramona Bridges, Annette Buckner and Jeannete Hartsfield and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy Glover and Robbie Cusick.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, January 19 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Liberty Cemetery. Viewing will be Wednesday from 2 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Terry Hawkins, Travis Hawkins, Jim Philpot, Danny McCaslin, Blain Pearson, Seth Trotter and Kenny Daggs.
