Walter Pinkney Dunn, 73, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025 in Fort Smith. He was born August 16, 1951 in Midland, Arkansas to Merrial Oscar and Bertie Marie (Pettigrew) Dunn. He was a retired minister and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by one stepson, David Williams and wife, Stephanie; two daughters, Joy Jolley and Nicole Albritton; one sister, Edith Gouger and husband, Bud and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Dunn, three brothers, Vernon Dunn, Pat Dunn and Ray Dunn; one sister, Kathy Dunn and his stepson, Tarmey Williams.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, February 10 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood. Inurnment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery in Midland.
