Rev. W.B. ("Sonny" ) Clark ,age 83, received his ultimate healing August 5, 2016, reaching heavens destination he preached about for over 60 years. He was born in Hackett, Arkansas to Jim and Pearl Clark, gave his life to Jesus Christ at the age of 5 and at the age of 12 he became a Sunday School Superintendent. In 1952 W.B. Clark would meet a woman whose beauty, grace, love and compassion was like no one else's in the world, her name was Linda Jean Jones. On their very first date Mr. Clark proposed, and on September 23, 1952 their love story officially began when they were married. They were married 57 years. True Love- God's Perfect Will. Their journey allowed them to share in the beauty of parenthood where they would have two children, Linda Kay Clark 6/20/53 and Labetha Gail Clark 6/20/58 both girls were born on the same day 5 years apart. Mr. & Mrs. Clark nurtured, loved and led by example to show them the way, the truth and bring them to know Jesus Christ as their personal savoir. Bro. Clark attended Bible college through Southwestern Assemblies of God and was an active ordained minister of the Assemblies of God his entire ministry. He pastored several Assembly of God churches for over 50 years and his passion for people was like no other. To know W.B. (Sonny) Clark was to know his genuine love for Jesus Christ, and for his family, and all of his church family. He never met a stranger and he loved all and would go out of his way to make sure you knew you were loved and accepted. He loved to play horseshoes, and checkers, plant a garden, quail hunt, camp, but he absolutely loved to fish! You could start talking about fishing and his smile would be from ear to ear.
