William Ross “Bill” Richardson, passed away February 28, 2025. He was born March 8, 1941 in Cedarvale, New Mexico.

Bill served in both the Navy and the Army National Guard. He served in the Navy during Vietnam and was a veteran of Desert Storm. Among his many hobbies were woodworking, flint-napping, making knives, working in his garden, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Guy and Nettie Richardson, and two grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sandra Richardson of the home; his brother, Marvin Richardson and wife, Mary of Greenwood; his daughter, Melanie Griffis of Greenwood; his sons, Lance and Curtis Richardson both of Greenwood; stepsons, Paul and Wesley Crenshaw; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood.
