Wilma Sue Clay

Wilma Sue Clay, 77, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 in her home. She was born March 3, 1948 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Kendall and Ada (Black) Gothard. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Dan Clay, Sr.; one son, Joe Dan Clay, Jr. and wife, Heather; two daughters, Joann King and husband, Joe David and Nancy Brown and husband, Dexter; nine grandchildren, J.R. King, Tyler King and girlfriend, Ashley, J.W. Clay and wife, Cassie, Mason Clay and wife, Kayleigh, Arianna Koehn and husband, Seth, Kristen Clay, Austin Clay and wife, Deanna and Ashlyn Leda and husband, Andrew and great grandchildren, Kasen, Trenton, J.T., Akyra, Braxton, Eli, Hunter, Jaxon, Emery, Haegan, Faith, Hope and Grace.

Funeral service for Wilma will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, May 29 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Arkansas with burial at Evans Cemetery. The family will visit with friends after the service on Thursday.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, J.R. King, Tyler King, J.W. Clay, Mason Clay, Austin Clay and Seth Koehn.
