Alice was the beloved daughter of Charles and Josephine Jordan and was raised in Toledo, Ohio. It was there, at the young age of 14 1/2, that she met the love of her life Bob Belville. The two were inseparable, and in February of 1964, they joined their lives in marriage, beginning a lifelong journey together filled with devotion, laughter, and faith.
Alice's life was a living testimony of Christ's love. She was a faithful member of Holgate Baptist Church in Portland, Oregon, where she served as a lifelong Sunday School teacher. Teaching and sharing the gospel were her greatest joys and she never missed an opportunity to shared God's love and grace with everyone she met.
Beyond her ministry, Alice was a woman of joy and humor. She loved bowling, treasured time spent with her family and grandchildren, and had a special closeness with her sister, Wanda, with whom she shared nearly a lifetime of side-by-side living until Wanda's passing in 2016.
Her faith was lived out in action. One of her greatest passions was creating "homeless packs" - care packages filled with essentials and scripture so that those in need not only received physical help but also spiritual encouragement.
Alice joins her parents, Charles and Josephine Jordan, and her sisters, Wilma Bisnett, Wanda Scheffert and Mary Pierce. She is survived by her husband, Bob Belville, her brother, Christopher Jourdan, her children, Rhonda (Rob) Galati, Bobby Belville, Roger (Amanda) Belville, Charles (Michelle) Belville, Edith Farr, her grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan, Kali, Bobby, Tony, Autumn, Serina, Quinton, and Journey, and her great-grandchildren Leia and Kira.
Her life will be remembered as one marked by selfless service, steadfast faith, and an endless love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
