Alvin Ray Eisner

November 27, 1935April 23, 2021

Alvin Ray Eisner, a resident of Gresham Oregon, was accepted into heaven on April 23rd 2021. He was 85 years of age. Alvin was born on November 27, 1935 in Fargo ND. He grew up in Oregon and graduated Benson High School. On October 10, 1958, he married Lynine D Monk in Stevenson, Washington. They had three daughters and resided in East County for over 60 years. He was a machinist by trade and worked for Zydell for over 25 years among other steel industries. Alvin enjoyed Classic cars and owned a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible. He met many lifelong friends and made many wonderful memories via the Pacific Northwest Convertible Club. He also enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, sports and most outdoor activities. Alvin was an animal lover and Dixie was his beloved puppy and companion. He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Eisner of Tucson, Arizona, Janet Eisner of Portland and Melody Eisner of Portland and Dixie along with his grandson, Kivenit and granddaughters, Rebecca and Virginia of Tucson AZ and 3 great grandchildren Elora, Charles and Niclaus of Tucson AZ. He is preceded in death by his wife Lynine D Eisner, Sister Lonnie Koehn of Billings MT and Grandson Charles A Eisner of Tucson AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Alvin to the Providence Cancer Center. Graveside Military interment will take place a Willamette National Cemetery. It was a very nice service on a sunny day.
I have many fun memories with my second dad! The convertible club movie nights at the Powell street drive-in, all the parades and car cruises, holiday dinners and parties at Al & Lynine's house and the list goes on..... You both are missed so much!
