Anita B. Hansen died on January 19, 2014 in Troutdale, OR at the age of 68. She was born on April 24, 1945 in Wiesbaden, Germany to Jakob and Elizabeth Faust. Wiesbaden is where she was raised and attended school.
Anita married Gerald L. Hansen on March 24, 1971 in Wiesbaden. She worked for the US Military in food services for many years, working many years in Germany as well as in the U.S.
Anita enjoyed animals, collecting fine porcelain, and sightseeing. She was a catholic.
Anita is survived by her husband Gerald L. Hansen, Troutdale, OR., two sons, Michael Rosenau, Sandy, OR., and Earl Rosenau, El Mira, Idaho, sister, Rose Marie Zeitler, Bingen, Germany, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon with a committal service following at 12:30 pm at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Visitation will be on Monday, January 27th from 1-5 pm at the funeral home.
