Arline Luella Bright

Arline Luella Bright passed away on September 30, 2015, in Estacada, Oregon. Arline was born on April 14, 1925, in Denbigh, North Dakota, to her parents; Andrew and Elizabeth (Larson) Eikesdahl. Arline graduated from Towner High School.

On October 5, 1947, Arline married the love of her life, Lester Keaton Bright. They were married until his passing in 2013.

Arline was a member of the Greater Grace Lutheran Church. Her faith was very important to her. Arline was always ready to lend a hand to those in need, and she lived a life of service to her community. Arline enjoyed golf, crossword puzzles, word games, and entertaining guests from all over the world.

Arline was the matriarch of the Bright family. She worked hard to raise her only child while supporting her husband with his business endeavors.

Arline is survived by her son, Michael (Michelle) Bright; her grandchildren, Thomas (Amanda) Bright and Shelly Bright; her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Sarah, Keaton, and McKenna; and her niece, Cathy (Steve) Del Masso.

The Bright family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Theresa Barringer, who lovingly cared for Arline in her final years.

A Celebration of Life in Arline’s honor will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Greater Grace Lutheran Church. Arline was the backbone of the family, and she will be greatly missed.
