Arthur graduated from Gresham High School in 1953. He married Anita Aukland on May 7, 1955 in Gresham. They lived in Gresham until moving to Southeast Portland almost 50 years ago.
Arthur was a computer analyst. He was a member of the Gresham Elks. He participated in the Hood to Coast Relay from 1987-1991.
Survivors include his loving wife Anita, of Portland, OR., daughter, Jeanette Anhorn, of Hillsboro, OR., two brothers, Albert Anderson, of Perris, CA., and Norman Anderson, of Boulder, CO., three grandchildren, Casey Lowry, Heather Foster and Johnathan Anhorn and one great grandson, Calvin Lowry.
Donations may be given to the American Heart Association.
No public services will be held. Private entombment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham, Oregon.
