Barbara Sue Horne

Barbara Sue Horne, 80, of Gresham, Oregon, passed away on April 23, 2021 in Canby, Oregon. She was born in McMinnville, Oregon to Ben and Elna (Wise) Moen and was raised with five siblings. Barbara married, Cornelius Clayton Horne and together they raised three daughters, Tamara, twins Jannette and Annette. Cornelius passed away unexpectedly in 1993. Barbara remarried Gordon Gardner and they shared a few years together before his passing in 1997. Barbara enjoyed trips to the coast, going to casinos, floral crafting, dancing and shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Elna Moen; husbands, Cornelius Horne and Gordon Gardner. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Tamara, Jannette and Annette; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Barbara will be laid to rest with her first husband Cornelius Horne at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A private celebration of life gathering will take place on May 8, 2021 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at 1400 SW Walters Drive, Gresham, Oregon 97080.

Oh grandma you are so missed by so many. I will always remember you as the most fashionable grandma ever. I also will always remember getting ready with you in your bathroom when I was little when you would babysit me.
