Barbara Riehl

Barbara Riehl passed away on Thursday Feb. 21, 2013 with family by her side. She was born in Tacoma, WA to parents Orval and Jessie Fisher. At the age of 5, Barbara moved with her family to NE Portland where she spent most of her life.

While in high school, Barbara met James Riehl, and after graduation, at 18, she married him in Gresham on November 29, 1958. They have shared the last 54 years together, raising two children. She was survived by her husband James and her son Matthew. She is reunited with her daughter Marie.

Barbara has 3 Grandchildren: Tony, Michelle & Britynn with 4 Great Grandchildren: Gracie, Abby, and Taelynn & the newest addition Evelynn.

Barbara always put her family first; she loved spending time with family & friends. She also liked traveling to the Oregon coast for some R&R and a casual visit to the casino. She will always be in our hearts and missed greatly more than words can express.

No farewell words were spoken… no time to say goodbye…

You were gone before we knew it, And only God knows why!!
