Barbara married Fred von Pegert on August 12, 1966 in Sembach, Germany. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Gresham, Oregon. She enjoyed dancing, her friends, traveling and cleaning. Barbara worked as a Secretary for the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Coast Guard.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon. Private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband Fred von Pegert, son Andreas and his wife Sandra Richards, Aloha, OR., daughter Tatjana and her husband Richard Mohr, Fairview, OR., son, Patrick and his wife Bonnie von Pegert, Portland, OR., sister Ulrike and brother Lothar and five grandchildren; Richard, Brianna, Stephan, Joshua and Daniel.
