Betty Violet Childress 94, born in Edmonton, Alberta and long time resident of the Gresham area, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017. Beloved mother and wife of (Truston)69years, she is survived by her two sons, Les (Suzanne) Childress, Bainbridge Isl., WA., and Craig Childress Vancouver, WA. She was blessed with grandchildren and great grand children, Taylor, (Courtney), Carter, and Caroline Childress of Nashville TN.; Anne, (Dr.Bobby), James Truston, and Cameron Gibbons of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by brother Don (Jean) Ible and extended family of Edmonton Canada. Betty was loved by all who knew her.
