Lenny was raised in Shady Cove, Oregon and later became a 29 year resident in Portland. He had resided in Gresham for the last 8 years.
Lenny married Loretta Gray on February 18, 1984 in Shady Cove, Oregon. He was a Boilermaker who worked at the Swan Island Shipyards.
Lenny was a boxer, enjoyed camping and bass fishing, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife, Loretta, of Gresham, OR., two sons, Randy Cannon, of Sacramento, CA., and Russell Buttram, who lives in North Carolina, 4 daughters, Melissa Goddard, of Erwin, Tennessee, Mallea Johnson, Gresham, OR., Amber Buttram, Medford, OR., and Michelle Martin, Tucson, Arizona, sister, Sandy Watson who lives in Central Point, Oregon, 15 grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.
Donations may be given to the Alzheimers Association.
No public services will be held.
