Carol Lynne (Howe) Brashear

Carol graduated from David Douglas High School in 1984. She later earned her associates degree in Health Informatics at Mount Hood Community College. Most of Carol’s employment was related to the medical field.

Carol lived in Clyde, Texas from 1986-1998 returning to Portland and finally to Gresham in 2000. Carol attended Greater Gresham Baptist Church with her two daughters and mother.

Carol enjoyed cooking and baking, all crafts and conversations with anyone. She was a good hearted person and loved her family, friends and pets, Max and Ariel.

Survivors include her two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Katie Brashear, of Gresham, OR; mother, Karen Long, Gresham, OR; father, Carroll “Clyde” Howe and his wife Valerie, Vashon, WA; sister, Michelle (Howe) Petrie, Brother-in-Law Tim and sweet Nephew Aiden, of Auburn, WA; grandmother, Ruth Kurth, San Antonio, TX and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Very special people to Carol were Barb and Dave Morris, Chris, Sherry, Matt and Alicia Dickie, all of Portland, OR.

A Celebration of Carol’s life will take place on Saturday, July 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Gresham Baptist Church located at 3848 NE Division St. in Gresham, Oregon.
