Carol Ella (Davis) Peay

Carol was born on May 23, 1933 in Dividend, Utah and was the daughter of George and Rhea (Daley) Davis. At age 10 she moved to Portland, Oregon and returned to Utah in 1947 where she graduated from Payson High School in 1951. She moved to East County in 1970 where she worked as a Clerk in the Records Department of Aetna Insurance. She retired and resided in Marion County for the past 14 year where she was a caregiver for her grandson.

Family was very important to Carol. Her world revolved around her family and ensuring their safety and happiness. She also enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her children, Monica Peay of Portland, Hillary Peay-Provstgaard of Hubbard, Cliff Peterson of Scio, Kevin Hoopes of Roseburg and Gilbert Peay of Nephi, Utah, brother, Daryl Davis of Payson, Utah and sisters, Georgia Allen of Payson and Iris Hamilton of Las Vegas along with 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Her son, James, brothers, Arthur, Dale and Douglas and sisters, Reah May, Imogene and Geraldine all preceded her in death.
