Charla was such a fun spirit and sweetheart of a person.  We shared an office after her DJ’s crew bought a freight forwarding company who previously occupied the space.  I loved talking with her and discussing our shared Norwegian heritage as well as movies.  I was driving through Montana last week and decided to look her up due tinier talking about the state so often - only to discover this. Not seen her since 2003, R.I.P. Charla.

Missing you so much Mom. I feel you every day. I am anxiously awaiting our reunion in Heaven.

I knew Charla for only four years but knew immediately that she was a Force to be reckoned with!  She was one in a million, generous to a fault, cheerful and absolutely full of "sparkle"...I'm sure that should have been her middle name.  It was so evident that she loved the Lord, her family, and her myriad of friends...I'm glad she counted me among the latter.  Heaven is a much better place for her presence, and down here the sun doesn't shine quite so brightly.

I am so sorry to hear about Charla.  She was a great lady and so much fun.  I wish I had heard before now.  I will miss her.  Although we didn't spend allot of time together as of late, she was always in my heart.  I loved her laugh and the way she laid it on the line.  Know I loved her.

Charla was one of many cousins.Growing up we would see each other occasionly during reunions in Scobey or when we saw them in Oregon. Reading the letters here, I see what she meant to her family and friends. I wish now that I had more time to spend with my relatives growing up. Losing someone close to you is hard. It will be her memories that will carry you through this. Our prayers are with you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry to hear your mom passed away. We were neighbors when you and my daughter were only 2or3 years old.  You girls played together and your mom and I played Bunco together in our neighborhood on 20th Dr. in Gresham. Then your folks moved to about 160th off Stark. I talked and saw her a few times after that and again when she worked at an auto dealership. Then we lost touch. I heard about her again when she and Dick Woynowski worked together. His son Randy and my sister have been together for many years.
That is how I heard about your moms passing. Again so sorry to hear and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss.

My dear friend, Charla.  I am so saddened to hear about your death.  You have left me with so many fond memories starting with when we were raising Tiffany and Mark and Randy in Gresham. One of my favorite will be our island-hopping trip to Hawaii and discovering that you couldn't lay on an air mattress in the surf - thinking you were getting the flu - but, in fact, it made you sea sick!  I will miss our visits and phone calls - you were always there for me - a true friend with a huge heart.  And, I will miss your "kitty" greeting cards. My memories of Charla, go way back. She was a distant relative of mine and a great friend of my little cousin, Bonnie Dee.  She could light up a gathering by merely walking in. Charla was full of fun, vivaciousness and spirit. None could be bored around Charla. She will be so missed.

I loved Charla.   She was one of the kindest and most caring people I know.   She was fun and always smiling.   I will miss seeing her sitting across the ailse from me Sunday mornings.   I pray God's peace and comfort to Tiffany, Noah, Diana, and Jana.

Oh Charla, how I will miss you.  You brought a spark to every room you entered.  I would sometimes just look at you and it would make me laugh because I knew you were thinking of something funny. i have known charla since i was eight years old.  she has been there for me for many ups and downs.  She was there when i had my daughter and named her.  Charla also taught me many things in life including how to clean, properly.  i promise Charla that i will always be there for Tiffany and Noah.  I know you are at rest and no longer in pain. My Charla- I have so many wonderful memories of us...our families, Joe, Lauren, my divorce, peach schnapps, movies, hair color, her same bubble year after year, maybe a little different length, all of her holiday sweatshirts, Dickies, hair accessories, glitter, ailments, running over Joe's new shoes with her new car (I was so poor) & couldn't even afford shoes. He went to get them to show them to her and they were flat under her tire. Earmuffs, gloves and afgans at the theater.....so many memories. My best one....when she really really knew how much Jesus loved her. I really can't think I laughed or cried so much with anyone. She was a funny, busy waddling around girl.. Miss her. Of course she gets to be with Elijah....of course.love you Charla

Charla was both my cousin and one of my best friends. From the time we were small children we shared a wonderful bond that only grew stronger as we got older.  I am grateful for all the special times we had together through the years, especially those involving our grandchildren. The last few weeks were difficult, but we still laughed alot. 

Charla, I miss you and I love you and it's very hard for me to imagine my life without you in it. I still can't believe it.
