

Charles Harmon Reaman “Chuck”, a resident of Clackamas, Oregon, died on February 15, 2010 in Clackamas. He was 63 years of age.
Chuck was born on November 30, 1946 in Portland, Oregon and was the son of McKinley and Anna (Rasmussen) Reaman. He attended Milwaukie High School where he was involved in football and baseball. He graduated in 1965. He found work as a welder for many years working for various private operations on Swan Island. He later found employment with Freightliner where he started out as an Automotive Machinist and later worked as an Electrical Technician. He was a member of the Automotive Machinist Union throughout his career and retired from Freightliner in 2001.
Chuck married Rose Marie Snively on December 2, 1977 in Carson City, Nevada. They resided in Milwaukie for most of their married lives. Chuck also resided in Gresham for 4 years moving to Clackamas in 2005 following the death of his wife.
Chuck had many hobbies and interests in life. He enjoyed traveling, especially with his wife Rose Marie, camping and reading. He was also an avid collector of comic books, lighters and mugs. He was involved in bowling leagues with his step-sons and also enjoyed a game of pool. He had a marvelous whit about him and was a very genuine and kind person. He was whole hearted by natured and simply treasured the relationships he had with his family and friends.
He is survived by his step-children, Jon Sakewitz of Milwaukie, Vicki Hilbert of Portland, Dave Sakewitz of Gresham and Miriam Sakewitz of Portland. His wife Rose Marie preceded him in death in 2005.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon. Contributions may be made to a Charity of Choice or to World Vision. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
