Daniel graduated from Ashland High School in 1963. He married Joy Chiamulera on June 16, 1969 in Reno, Nevada.
Daniel was a finance manager for Household Finance for 16 years. Then he worked as a finance manager for United Finance for 24 years.
Daniel has lived in Medford, Roseburg and Longview until moving to Gresham in 1980.
Daniel liked going to casinos, bird watching, fishing, hunting and traveling.
Survivors include his loving wife Joy Baker of Gresham, son Michael and his wife Tara Baker of Oregon City, OR., daughter Shelly and her husband Brian Donily of Portland, brother Ken Baker of Happy Valley, OR., two sisters, Karen Turner of Coquille, OR., and Shirley Keener who lives in Pennsylvania and his beloved dog “Mickey”.
Memorial service will be on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham.
