Residing in Gresham, Oregon, Derald was the cherished spouse of the late Ellen Margaret Hopkins, whom he shared a loving marriage with for 53 years. He was the son of the late Roy McKague and Thelma McKague.

Derald was a great dad of 4, grandfather of 6, and great-grandfather of 6. His legacy of love and dedication will be remembered by all who knew him.
