It has been over a year now that my Dewey died and it seems like yesterday.  I miss him more than words can say.  I know he is with me in spirit and in my heart.  God bless Dewey and I pray for him.  I love you, Dewey, forever.  All my love, Tez

I meet Dewey in the 5 th grade at glenhaven school ,  we were best of friends all  through high school and grade school.  Dewey Morris was the best friend I ever had.  I will alway love Dewey as my best friend. Ron Ohalloran .  San Jose  Ca.

Not having the opportunity or privilege to live near Dewey and Montez for frequent visits, it was nonetheless a very fun and very conversational around Dewey.  He was always very helpful and forthright when you needed something done.  
Eddy and I love and miss him and hope he finds a place to feed the squirrels.

 I worked with Dewey in the machine shop at Wagner from the late 60's thru the 70's. He was a good machinist and and excellent co-worker.
 We went dirt bike riding together, we had a great time.
 I'm so sorry he has passed on.



Dewey's Spirit and Memory will live on forever.

Dewey and I shared a 56-year-friendship that began in high school and after. I have many great memories of us riding our motorcycles and driving our El Caminos together. We worked together at Wagner Mining for thirty-three years. We walked daily at Glendoveer; hunted, fished and camped. So, it is very hard to say GOOD BYE Friend.

Dewey's Spirit will always be present fishing in the hog line on the Columbia River and reeling in the big one.

Dewey's silent footsteps will be treading around Glendoveer.

Dewey's Pals, the East and West Crows and squirrels he supplied with peanuts are still waiting each morning for their friend.

Dewey, we will all meet again in another time and place.

I seen Dewey on the Columbia River this summer.. I Worked with Dewey for 25 years at Wagner Mining. He was a great guy to work with as machinist and Inspector. We respected each other as a working team. It was great to work with all the guy's at Wagner. He will always be remembered by all of us. He was number one on the seniority list. He will be missed..HERM WALTER........

I have not seen Dewey since graduating from high school (Madison 1962.) He was a guy with a great sense of humor and a real stand up human being. It is sad how we lose track of each other through the years. I am sure Dewey lead a life to be cherished.

I was in the Army the same basic training and I did know him we both worked at Wagner Mining and he comes to me and says we were in the same company in basic. He said our pictures are on the same page. I went home and looked at the picture book, and there we were on the same page  (wow) now it sounds like he was living in Fairview. I been living in Fairview since 1975 and I never knew. I wished that we had got together again because he was a good man, I don't think he was not liked by anybody. I wish we would seen each other. Dewey helped shape me by way of example throughout my adult life. I observed him while being a loving husband, parent,grandparent, and taking on the incumbent duties with eagerness. I watched as he engaged in new experiences, with gusto, while traveling. On a lighter side (and much more one on one bonding time) I watched as he prayed for snow at elk camp then later question the wisdom of such an act while winching his red trucks out of a hole. He is part of me and will always have a cot at camp and a chair at the 31 table. Love. Chuck

It is so sorrowful to write this.  I loved my Dewey so much , making memories and sharing dreams.  I thank God for the life we shared together...forever. I am so blessed to have been his wife.  He is with me always.

I will miss Dewey at our anual elk hunts. We have had many good years playing 31 and hunting for the big one. You will be missed dearly. Codulances to Cora, Corey and the rest of the family.

There are no words that can express our sorrow or how much we love this family. Dewey was more than a friend, he was my brother. Jim and Dewey have been buddies for over 63 years. There is not room in this small box to memorialize someone you've known and loved for over 50 years, except to say there is a deep, wide gaping hole in our family and the darkness of our days is just as deep and wide.
Dewey was a beloved brother in law to Lynd and I and my other siblings and their spouses.  Everyone loved Dewey.  Our remembrances of him will fill the void he has left in our family and thank God we have a lot of both.  It is a vast space to fill, but fill it we will, with lots of wonderful memories and stories.  It's so so sad and hard to believe that that is all we have of him now.  
Thank you to all of you who have been so kind and loving to my sister.  Your thoughtfulness is truly cherished and will never be forgotten by her or our family. When you shine a light on others on a dark road, your way is also lit.
