Dolores Evelyn Williams

Dolores Evelyn Williams, 86 of Gresham OR, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015. She was born on August 24, 1928 in Gresham, Oregon to Julius and Evelyn (Kendall) Lampert and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1946. Dolores married Robert H. Williams on May 25, 1948 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Gresham, Oregon, where they were lifetime members. Dolores enjoyed sewing but loved coupons & discount ads and was a snowbird for thirty years in Yuma, Arizona. Dolores dedicated herself to the care of her disabled son Charles for many years.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1996, her son Charles Allen Williams in 1983 and one brother and four sisters. She is survived by her son Arnold Williams (Star) of Gresham OR; sister Lucille Tolbert of Gresham OR; grandchildren Daniel Williams of Ione OR, Michelle Reams (Rick) of Eagle Creek OR and Craig Osborne of Gilbert AZ and great grandchildren Justin Hummel of Portland OR, Courtney Knight of Eagle Creek OR and Jack Osborne of Gilbert AZ.

A Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:00pm on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd in Gresham OR. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at St. Henry Church, 346 NW First Street in Gresham, Oregon. Private interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
