Mourning 😭 The Loss of a VERY SPECIAL Man of my youth-
When ⚾️ Baseball filled my days!!!!!!

The lessons I learned from Coach Lane were also taught sharing
A duck blind on Government Island............🦆 and angling some of the local streams and ponds 🦈

I think those students who knew him well, understand when I say-
“ HE WAS A GREAT COACH “............and treated “ALL With RESPECT “!!

Thoughts and Prayers to All the Family 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ty for Sharing Him with So Many “ Reynolds Lancers”!

Don and I were roommates at the Phi Delt House while we attended the Univ. of Oregon. He was liked by all of his fraternity
brothers because of his friendly nature. Many wonderful
memories. Later Don was a patient in my dental practice.
Rest in peace.

We met Don and Judy in 1981 when we purchased an acre of property behind them and the Ross's in Deschutes River Recreation Properties, near Sunriver, Or. We quickly learned what a wonderful, caring neighbor and friend Don would become. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are sent out, with love, to Judy and his family.

Don was a good friend and colleague at RHS for many years (1967-1979). He was truly a coach and ball player at heart—always willing to help kids learn and improve. He cared about students and always encouraged them to do their best.
Don loved to tell stories, mostly sports or fishing stories. He was tender-hearted and sincerely one of the “nice guys” to all he encountered—respectful and kind to both young and old.
