Thank you Doris for making me feel like family from the very beginning I met you. You have a heart that grabs you and pulls you in and says "your a part of us now".
You are the truth even when it hurts, you are the sunshine on a rainy day, you are the wind in the cool breeze at sunset. Your laughter brightens anyones day, Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! I will miss you terribly, but know you are not that far away and are listening if I need you, We'll be seeing you!!!!!!! Tell then.

We were neighbors to Doris for years, on Birdsdale Avenue, just downhill. Who knew that her daughter,JoAnne, would marry Val’s brother Mark?

Doris offered to babysit our baby girl, and we got to know her a little: all of her children were grown by then(1991). We enjoyed being her neighbor, and visiting at JoAnne and Mark’s Molalla home!

I know Doris through her daughter, Joanne—-(my sister-in-law)
The time I remember her was at a most recent family gathering.
She was lovely, lively, and spunky too!
She spoke her mind and was very engaging to talk with.
She had a wonderful hearty laugh!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed her company and I appreciated her honesty—she did not hold
back and I love that about her!
She helped me feel closer to Joanne and to know Joanne better.
Thank you Doris for your beautiful company and for sharing your daughter, Joanne, with us!
