

Edna Lee Robinson died on June 5, 2011 at Olympia Medical Center in Port Angeles, Washington with family by her side. Edna was born on September 6, 1916 in Kingsport, Tennessee to Abraham and Mary (Davis) Sizemore.
Edna married James D. Robinson on December 31, 1954 in Stevenson, Washington. James died in 1968. Edna lived in Gresham, Oregon from the 1950’s until moving to Sequim, Washington in 2007. She was an office worker for her husband’s construction company. Edna belonged to the Baptist faith.
Interests included writing, politics, bowling and was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxillary Organization in Gresham. People enjoyed being around Edna because she was such a kind, considerate and easy going person.
Survivors include her daughter Nancy Berman, of Sequim, WA., two sons, Joseph McCarty, of Boring, OR., and Jeffrey Robinson, of Gresham, OR., three sisters, Barbara Heiskell of Bulls Gap, TN., Ruth Weston, of Kingsport, TN. And sister Randy McDavid, of Huber Heights, Ohio, nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Edna was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Nell Allison.
Donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Graveside service will be on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Viewing will be on Thursday, June 9th from 1 – 5 p.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon.
