Elinor Jones, 91, passed away on New Year’s Eve after suffering from Alzheimer’s for several years. Elinor was born on December 22, 1923 to Mervin and Elvilla (Henderson) Beal in Dorris, California. Elinor attended Klamath Falls High School, and she attended the University of Oregon as well. Elinor had many hobbies; she enjoyed playing cards, weekend coast trip’s with Ben, visiting her home in Tahoe, and her yearly family reunions. Elinor worked for many years in the Springfield/Eugene School System as an Administrative Assistant. Elinor will be remember for being an extremely generous person, honest and family oriented.
Elinor is survived by her Husband Ben, and her four children; Virginia Jones, Robert Jones, Daniel Jones and Richard Jones, as well as many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren .
