

Elsie Ann D’Amico, 86 of Portland OR, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. She was born on March 8, 1931 in Portland, Oregon to Martin and Anna (Fetter) Kambeitz and graduated from Parkrose High School in 1949. Elsie married John Wallace D’Amico on April 16, 1955 in Portland, Oregon and he preceded her in death on March 4, 2014. She worked for Montgomery Ward for over 20 years. Elsie was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church where she assisted in making rosaries. She loved trips to Lincoln City and Rockaway Beach, enjoyed time spent with special friends and was the Queen of her Bunco group.
Elsie is survived by her sons Joe D’Amico (Marcie) of Portland OR and Ron D’Amico (Debbie) of Gresham OR; daughter Lori Holcomb (Ron) of Gresham OR; brother Martin Kambeitz (Joan) of Battleground WA; sister Dolores Lawler (Don) of Vancouver WA; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation for Elsie will be from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, January 27, 2018 and a Celebration of Elsie’s Life will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd in Gresham, Oregon. Private interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery.
