On Thursday, April 3, 2014 Dr. Eugene J. Fadel went to be home with the Lord at his home in Gresham, Oregon. Dr. Fadel was born on September 8, 1925 in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Allen and Lillian Fadel. He married Barbara Jean Eckman on July 31st, 1948 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dr. Fadel is survived by his wife of over 65 years, Barbara; his brother Allen Fadel, sons: Gene (and Jani), Dan (and Michelle), and Evan (and Kathy), 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Tim Fadel on September 6th, 2008.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 19th at 2:00 p.m. at Living Hope Baptist Church located at 3130 SE 148th Ave. in Portland, Oregon.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made on behalf of Dr. Eugene and Barbara Fadel to: Samaritans Purse, PO BOX 3000, Boone, NC, 28607-3000. Arrangements are being made by Bateman Carroll Funeral Home.
