Arrangements under the direction of Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, Gresham, OR. Geraldine May Hoagland was born on December 28, 1925 to Fay and Irene (Larson) Snyder in Thurston, Nebraska. She died on January 14, 2011 in Portland, Oregon at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband Andy Jack Hoagland, of Happy Valley, OR., daughters Marilyn Norberg, of Woodinville, WA., and Bonnie Butler, of Bend, OR., sister Lorayne Darch who lives in Alaska, 10 grandchidlren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Emily Norberg. A Graveside service will be on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Greater Portland Baptist Church.
