Hedwig “Hedy” Taylor, 80, passed away on April 4, 2018, in Gresham. She was born in San Francisco, California, on January 1, 1938, to her parents John and Lillie (Lopipero) Klingenfuss. She attended Polytechnic High School in San Francisco, and graduated in 1957. On February 7, 1959, Hedy married James A. Taylor. They were married until his passing on May 21, 1993. Together, they had two children, James and Vivian. Hedy and James owned 76 Stations, and Hedy worked as the bookkeeper. She later worked at the Bank Card Division of US Bank for 20 years, until she retired. Hedy enjoyed traveling, and she had the opportunity to travel to Qatar and Italy. She also enjoyed watching drag races. Hedy was a loving grandmother and great grandmother, and she will always be remembered for the love that she had for her family, and her caring nature. Hedy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her children, James Taylor and Vivian Nielsen; her grandchildren, Vivian, Crystal and Felicia; her great grandchildren, Bradley, Brandon, Blake, Séamus and Jack; and her siblings, Eline, Diane and John. She will be greatly missed. A Private Service for the family will be held. Hedy will be laid to rest with her husband at Willamette National Cemetery.
