

Helen Ray Clark, 83, of Boring, Oregon, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026. Born on November 1, 1942, in Marshall, Texas, Helen lived a life devoted to the people she loved most—her family and cherished friends.
As a dedicated homemaker, Helen found her greatest joy and purpose in creating a warm, welcoming home where love and laughter flourished. Her devotion to her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she took immense pride in watching her family grow through the generations. Helen's nurturing spirit and generous heart touched everyone who knew her, and her home was always open to those who needed comfort, a listening ear, or simply a place to belong.
Helen leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love through her surviving family: her brother, James Gresham; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Lois Eggleston; son and daughter-in-law,; Robbie & Brenda; son and daughter-in-law, Richard & Phillis; Son, Dale Clark; Daughter & Son in law, Mary & Rusty, Daughter, Barbie; Daughter, Debbie; Thirty three grandchildren; and twenty six great-grandchildren. Each one carries forward the values of kindness, devotion, and family unity that Helen exemplified throughout her life. Her ability to bring people together and her genuine interest in the lives of those around her created bonds that will endure for generations to come.
A Memorial Service celebrating Helen's life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd, Gresham, Oregon. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories of a remarkable woman who made the world brighter simply by being in it.
Though Helen's physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration, reminding us all of the enduring power of love, family, and friendship.
