James Junior Joseph, 78, passed away on September 28, 2026. Born on August 17, 1948, in Pine Mountain, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Louise and Cooper Joseph.
James is survived by his wife, Alice Joseph; his son, Guy Joseph, and Guy’s wife, Shawna Joseph; his daughter, Christa Joseph; and his son, Jared Joseph. He also leaves behind his grandsons, Austin, Jacob, and Brodie Joseph, sons of Guy and Shawna; Casey and Alex, sons of Christa; and his great-grandsons, Kayson and Koen, sons of Casey.
He is also survived by his sister, Bertha Sue Rossa, and her husband, Brad; and his brother, Rufus Joseph, and his wife, Beth.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Cooper Joseph; his daughter, Tamara Jeanne Joseph, and her children, Thomas and Bailey; and his siblings, Alonzo Joseph, Janice Carl, and Henderson Joseph (Judy-surviving spouse).
His memory will be held close by his family and all who knew and loved him.
