

Janet graduated from Battleground High School in Washington. She married Anton Meduna on June 6, 1951 in Portland. Anton died in 1988. Janet worked at ChipSteak and was a cook at outdoor school. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Gresham.
Hobbies included music, all sports, going to the beach, especially Hawaii and going to the movies. Janet was a very giving and selfless person and had a great sense of humor.
Janet is survived by her three sons, Duane, Robert and Donald Meduna; two daughters, Lillian Pillster and Marianne Spurgeon; brother Steven Traxler, 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son David, her husband Tony, her parents and her brother James Traxler.
Rosary will be on Sunday, March 18th at 7 pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham. Funeral mass will be on Monday, March 19th at 11 am at St. Henry Catholic Church, 346 NW 1st St. in Gresham. Private graveside service will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Portland.
