Mrs. Sroba was the best teacher I ever had and I loved her very much. Years later, I was working as a nurse in Gresham, and her brother was one of my patients, I again got to get caught up on her life. She was such a joy and found fun in everything. She touched my life and made a big difference in it. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Jean was a kind, caring, funny, and loving lady. She had a heart of gold and left her footprints on all the children she taught. She was always able to connect with the children on a level that many others couldn't. I had the pleasure of knowing her as a friend of mines mother and as a tutor of my daughter. The growth that my daughter made while being tutored by her helped her become the student that Jean always knew she was capable of being. My heart goes out to Steve and his family for their loss. Jean will truly be missed but her spirit will live on in the lives of the children she touched!
