Jeffrey Joseph Arndt Sr.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Joseph Arndt, Sr., of McKinney, Texas passed away June 23, 2012 at the age of 58. He was born January 17, 1954 in Portland, Oregon to James and Virginia Ruth (Utt) Arndt. On December 19, 1981, Jeff married Colleen M. Lane in Portland, Oregon. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Jeff was employed at Frito Lay for 33 years in the National Sales Department. He was also the assistant Scout Master for the Circle 10 council.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen Arndt of McKinney, Texas; Sons, Jeffrey Joseph Arndt, Jr. of McKinney, Texas, Ryan (wife, Jessica) Arndt of Memphis, Tennessee; grandchildren, Bryce and Blake Arndt of Memphis, Tennessee sister, Kimberly Jo Arndt-Budreau of Portland, Oregon; Mother, Ruth Arndt of McKinney, Texas; and his beloved cats, Tiger, Tank and Penny.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father, James Arndt and his grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 10:00 am -5:00 pm also at Bateman Carroll. Jeff will be laid to rest with military honors at Willamette National Cemetery.
