Jeffrey “Jeff” Alvin Deetz passed away on November 11, 2015, in Portland, Oregon. Jeffrey was born on February 14, 1975, in Portland, Oregon, to his parents: Raymond and Rita Deetz. Jeff was an Eagle Scout, and he graduated from Centennial High School in 1993. In 2001, Jeff married the love of his life, Misty, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Portland, Oregon.
Jeff was an avid bowler, and he was very proud of the fact that he bowled a 300 game! He also enjoyed playing Texas Hold Em, boating at Detroit Lake, boating, fishing, and camping. Jeff was also a longtime member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church. He will always be remembered for being friendly and outgoing.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents. Jeff is survived by his wife, Misty Deetz; his sister, Amy Deetz; his grandmother, Thelma Deetz; his uncles, Irvin Johnson, Lloyd Johnson, Lyle Johnson and John Deetz; his aunts, Carolyn Deetz and Corrine Deetz; his cousins, Adam and Leslie Johnson, Erin Vodka, Kelsey Johnson, Nick Deetz, Tony Deetz, Andrew Deetz, and Darci Dahlen; and his beloved dog, Precious. He will be missed.
