Jenna’s childhood was rich with friendship, laughter, church activities, youth camps, and the simple joys of growing up surrounded by people who loved her. Even as life brought changes, new schools, and moves, she remained deeply connected to the friends and community who became like family to her.
As an adult, Jenna continued to form deep and meaningful bonds wherever she went. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen, loved, and important, and many considered her one of their closest friends. She experienced difficult seasons in life, including struggles with addiction, yet she also found strength in recovery and in the community she built through AA and NA over many years. Jenna’s laughter, loyalty, resilience, and whole-hearted love for others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Though her life ended far too soon, the memories she created and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Jenna’s family would like to honor her friends in her recovery. Thank you for being part of her recovery. Anna Holst says , “In my opinion, the most special thing about Jenna was her remarkable ability to make everyone feel like they were her best friend. She formed deep and meaningful friendships everywhere she went, especially within the recovery community. If I tried to list every person who considered Jenna one of their closest friends, we would be here for hours. Today, my heart aches alongside Sean, Melissa, Kelsey, Shannon, Nathan, Emilie, Brandy, Eve, Mary, Phillip, Bri, Ashley, and so many others whose lives were touched by her friendship.” If your name is not listed please know that she considered you her best friend as well.
Jenna’s memory will be cherished by her family, lifelong friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
